This video is part of a new series of interviews highlighting the INFORMS societies, the largest of the INFORMS communities that each focus on a common area of interest within the study or practice of operations research, data science, analytics and more. We’ll be sharing each society’s unique focus and activities, as well as taking a broader look at what’s happening in the communities they represent. This interview highlights the Decision Analysis Society which is focused on promoting the development and use of logical methods for improving decision-making in public and private enterprise, and features Emanuele Borgonovo, a professor of Decision Analysis at the Department of Decision Science at Bocconi University and the president of the INFORMS Decision Analysis Society.
